With such developments it is becoming clear that no matter how furiously the PM lies about the money, which he has now admitted to having used to fund his credit cards and to pay political hangers-on, the scandal cannot be covered up.

Najib’s cyber-troopers have fallen back on their “broken record” argument, complaining that the critics of 1MDB are “harping on” about the same old boring billions, which have been stolen.

Yet, even as Malaysians are being urged to ‘forget about’ this ‘old chestnut’ of a story by Najib’s writers, a dramatic press release by none other than UMNO’s key senior figure Tengku Razaleigh  Hamzah shows how the issue cannot disappear.

Razaleigh was at one point considered a possible leader of an UMNO split over 1MDB, but Najib moved to bring him close. Today he has re-opened the divide by issuing a deadly demand that the Auditor General’s report into 1MDB be de-classified, in the face of Najib’s extraordinary move to make it an Official Secret.

This was the very demand cited by Sarawak Report earlier this week, after PAC member Tony Pua revealed that the Auditor General had discovered no less than US$7 billion have gone missing from 1MDB.

As Tengku Razaleigh made clear, just as the PM’s plane was lifting off to start an official foreign visit to the UK and Russia, the suppression of this investigation into a public company, which was in response to major concerns, is wholly unjustifiable:

“I am again making a call that the Auditor-General’s Report, which has been classified as “Official Secret” should be declassified as a matter of urgency for the reasons I have given above and because the Members of the Dewan Rakyat have a constitutional right to the Auditor-General’s Report before Parliament sits on 16th May, 2016. The issues are of such public importance that there cannot be any excuse for making the Auditor-General’s Report an official secret.”  [Press Statement Tengku Razaleigh – see below]

The same point has, of course, been made by UMNO’s other rebel of enormous stature, the former Prime Minister Dr Mahathir.

Tengku Razaleigh has added that the revelation of foul play over the publication of the Parliamentary Accounts Committee report also into 1MDB also makes the de-classification necessary and urgent. Najib’s hand-picked new Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee was found to have secretly and illegally removed certain damning sentences from that report, after it had been unanimously voted through an just before it was printed.

Those sentences referred to the discovery that US$7oo million plus US$330 million were directly siphoned from the initial 1MDB PetroSaudi joint venture deal to a company (Good Star Limited) that was not owned by either party to the joint venture, according to Bank Negara, said the PAC.

So, yet another deceit is out and it seems numbers are growing amongst the UMNO warlords, who are deciding enough is enough.

Sarawak Report is sorry to sound so often like a broken record, so we will offer Prime Minister Najib and his wife Rosmah our wishes for a pleasant time abroad, as they leave their disenchanted colleagues in charge behind.

MISREPRESENTATION OF THE PUBLIC ACCOUNTS COMMITTEE

It has been widely reported that there had been unlawful deletions to the Public Accounts Committee’s (PAC) Report that is to be tabled in Parliament. The deletions are about a subject matter of importance and controversy in respect of the unlawful movements of money that 1MDB had purportedly borrowed from international creditors.

2 My concern is for the protection of the integrity and standing of the Dewan Rakyat in the eyes of the public as an institution where Members of the Dewan Rakyat act responsibly and honestly without misleading the public.

3. In view of the deletions, I am concerned whether the Report that is going to be presented to the Dewan Rakyat is a report that can stand up to the public concerns in respect of the purported loans that 1MDB claims to have made on behalf of the nation. The deletions will be considered not only as unlawful but also a serious breach of the Houses of Parliament (Privileges and Powers) 1952, Section 9(i), (j) and (n)(iii).

4. The Houses of Parliament (Privileges and Powers) Act 1952 is intended to protect the integrity and reputation of the Dewan Rakyat so that the people of Malaysia will have confidence in the Dewan Rakyat as a constitutional institution to protect their interests. A breach of the Sections that I have referred to which deals with the tampering, misrepresentation and falsification of the documents presented to the Dewan Rakyat is precisely the kind of actions which fall within the offences under the Act. What it means is whatever deletions that have been made can cause apprehension among members of the public that the Report cannot, in the circumstances, reflect the entire truth of the facts surronding the 1MDB issue.

5. Therefore, I am again making a call that the Auditor-General’s Report, which has been classified as “Official Secret” should be declassified as a matter of urgency for the reasons I have given above and because the Members of the Dewan Rakyat have a constitutional right to the Auditor-General’s Report before Parliament sits on 16th May, 2016. The issues are of such public importance that there cannot be any excuse for making the Auditor-General’s Report an official secret. I would also like to reiterate the decision by the Prime Minister Y.A.B. Dato’ Sri Najib that the 1MDB issue be investigated by the Auditor-General and its result presented as a report for the consideration of the Dewan Rakyat. In making that decision, the Prime Minister gave the impression that there is nothing to hide.

Tentu sahaja orang-orang seperti Azalina Othman, Husni Hanadzlah atau Salleh Keruak dan seluruh menteri kabinet tidak tahu apa-apa. Mereka cuma tahu mengangguk-angguk seperti bangau mencari makan.

Apa yang lebih teruk, kerajaan ini menggunakan wang rakyat untuk menyebarkan maklumat palsu dan menipu untuk mempertahankan Najib!

Rakyat jangan terpedaya dengan menu kesukaan Najib..

Lihatlah berapa ramainya wanita Arab di Madinah ini, namun tidak seorang pun yang dapat hadia semacam itu, bukan?" " Isteriku, jika kamu berkeras, kamu putuskanlah samada kamu pilih Umar bin Khattab atau pilih kalung itu."

Akhirnya isteri Khalifah Umar ra. menyerahkan hadiah kalung tersebut dan dihantar ke Baitul Mal kerana Umar telah memutuskan bahawa ianya adalah hak Negara.

UMNO Desperados

Mari kita fikir dengan akal, jangan dengan otak..sebab jangan samakan kita dengan lembu. Lembu hanya ada otak tetapi tidak berakal.

Kita kena akui bahawa kita berada dalam sebuah negara demokrasi.Demokrasi bermakna parti yang mendapat mandat majoriti akan mentadbir negeri2 dan negara.Rakyat yang layak memilih sudah mempunyai banyak pengalaman dalam memilih kerajaan menerusi ' a legitimate and democratically held election'.

Sejarah  merakamkan peralihan kuasa  sering berlaku di kawasan2 yang dahulunya dimenangi calon BN bertukar kepada calon pembangkang atau sebaliknya silih berganti. Begitu juga negeri2 yang dahulunya di perintah oleh BN bertukar tangan kepada Pembangkang.

Kelantan,Terengganu,Kedah,Pulau Pinang,Selangor dan Perak telah mengalami senario pertukaran kerajaan melalui sistem demokrasi yang kita amalkan selama 5 dekad.

Dalam keadaan yang normal. peralihan kuasa tidak langsung mencetuskan huruhara. Setik darah tidak tumpah pun pada 2008 yang lalu.Ini adalah contoh mutlak bahawa rakyat telah matang dalam membuat pilihan. Seterusnya akur kepada keputusan yang kolektif.. Jadi bab kata orang putih 'In an orderly changeover there should be no fear'.

Apa pula masalahnya dengan UMNO dan BN? Saban hari cuba mendera rakyat khususnya orang Melayu dengan gambaran supaya peralihan kuasa merupaka satu tabu.

Apa yang kita faham sekarang ialah; sekirannya peralihan kuasa tetap menjadi pilihan rakyat, bermakna kepimpinan UMNO tidak bersedia menyerahkan kuasa yang telah berdekad mendakap kuasa. Natijah dari kehilangan kuasa ini bermakna akan lucutlah pendapatan  peribadi yang lumayan, peluang berniagaan famili dan kroni.Terpaksa pula mengubah cara hidup yang tidak lazim bagi mereka. Lebih perit lagi, mereka  akan kehilangan layanan yang super istimewa. Ini bukan mudah.Sekian lama mereka berada dalam 'comfort zone'.

Kita juga telah menyaksikan rampasan kuasa di Perak.Selagi ia didapati selari dengan Undang-undang dan Perlembagaan Negara, rakyat dapat menerima dengan hati terbuka.Tidak ada setitis pun darah menitis di bumi Perak.Namun timbul rasa tidak puashati dikalangan pengundi yang merasakan mereka tertipu oleh wakil yang mereka pilih dapat dibendung atas kesedara Rukun Negara yang menjadi teras kesetiaan..Dendam tetap dendam. Mereka akan simpan pada pilihanraya umum berikutnya.Itulah kematangan rakyat abad ini di negara kita.

Rinkasnya, jangan gusar dan  khuatir. Negara tetap aman dan makmur kalau Pakatan Rakyat menjadi pilihan pada  PRU 13 ini. Rakyat tidak akan percaya dengan ugutan yang tidak bermakna dari UMNO itu.Malah ugutan demi ugutan dapat difahami rakyat, bahawa BN/UMNO dalam situasi resah gelisah. Bayangan Mahkamah keadilan menghantui mereka sekarang.

ALASAN BESAR IALAH, MEREKA TAKUT DIHERET KE MUKA PENGADILAN KALAU MEREKA TEWAS ATAS BERBAGAI KESALAHAN YANG DI LAKUKAN SELAMA 5 DEKAD

Sejarah telah mengajar Pakatan Rakyat. Pimpinan mereka tentunya sangat faham risiko menang tipis. Apa yang berlaku di Perak benar-benar memberi erti  kepada mereka. Kali ini mereka memburu kemenangan dalam skala yang besar. Mereka juga faham bahawa wang menjadi perantara Si Lompat melompat ini.

Kalau 'spring' ini boleh mengumpul momentum, tidak mustahil, tanpa inisiatif kewangan yang hebat, mood bencikan salahlaku meluat-luat,UMNO akan tewas lebih teruk.

Pakatan Rakyat juga harus ingat bahawa UMNO/BN adalah yang desperados. Desperados akan lakukan apa sahaja untuk menyelamatkan diri..Saya yakin UMNO yang berguni-guni wang hasil dari dermawan RM12 billion PKFZ, RM500 juta komisen dari duah buah kapal selam atau RM250 juta NFC akan lakukan sesuatu untuk selamat. Bukan sedikit amaunnya..Mustahil pemain-pemain utama tidakdapat apa-apa.Mereka pastimya tidak kedekut berbelanja pada PRU13 demi menyelamatkan diri.

Ingat lafaz Najib dan Muhyidin beberapa bulan lalu dalam PAU di PWTC?  Ambil perhatian serius. Najib berikrar dan bersumpah akan pertahankan Putrajaya hingga ketitisan darah terakhir,biar jasad bergelimpangan sepanjang jalan kePutrajaya. Putrajaya akan dipertahankan mati-matian.Itu adalah amanat dan pidato akhir sebelum Putrajaya tumbang.Persis Hitler, sanggup membunuh diri demi mempertahankan kubu terakhirnya.

Seruan 'ubah atau diubah' sudah terlewat bagi UMNO dan BN.Kerajaan bawah pimpinan Najib sudah sedar dari keputusan PRU lepas. Warga berbangsa  India telah menghukum MIC dengan pukulan KO. Begitu juga dengan Parti Gerak. Terus kena 'stroke', yang ada hanya nywa.  MCA masih nyawa-nyawa ikan. Indikasi kemusnahan MCA dapat dirasai melalui terjemahan penguindi kaum China Pilihanraya di Sarawak.SUPP hancurrrr. Momentum ini akan berterusan ke Semenanjung. Buana empunya ramalan, kini sudah tiba pengundi-pengundi Melayu menjelmakan protes mereka pada UMNO.

Kalau ini benar terjadi, Barisan Nasional hanya mempunyai satu sahaja parti yang masih 'keras kerak' untuk berlawan; iaitu UMNO. Ditemani rakan-rakan yang cacat dan lumpuh seperti MCA, MIC, GERAKAN dan parti-parti yang seuzur.UMNO bagaikan menggalas 'biawak'.

Pakatan Rakyat masih dan sedang menggumpul serta membina kekuatan dari semasa ke semasa.Faktor Anwar sekali-kali tidak akan menjejaskan istiqamah perjuangan mereka. Kebangkitan mahasiswa merupakan katalis kepada perubahan dan peralihan kuasa pada PRU13 nanti. PERUBAHAN bagaikan SUDAH PASTI!!

Freedom from fear

The harder people are pushed to the wall, the harder they will fight back. It’s an inevitable reciprocal arrangement.

Upon the release of their friends, they chanted outside of the police station, “Hidup Hidup! Mahasiswa!” “Student Power!”. There was so much hope and strength in those voices. The air was filled with conviction. Conviction in the face of lawlessness that robbed 15 students of their liberties, the price they had to pay for believing in what is written in Article 10 of the Federal

Constitution.
On Dec 14, 2011, 15 students were arrested, detained for six hours for carrying placards in a silent protest to demand academic freedom at KL Sentral. They were denied their constitutional rights to peacefully assemble, constitutional rights to legal representation and they were intimidated by special branch officers who insisted on taking down “intelligence statements”.

It was very obvious on that day that their conviction was loathed by those who have been serving their political masters with unconditional submission and loyalty. In the midst of the jubilant celebration, one of the police officers who was earlier in charge of the arrest and detention suddenly stormed tumultuously into the crowd outside the police station, grabbed a student’s arm and started shouting frantically, questioning the student’s act of taking photos of their friends.

Everyone was puzzled as to what was happening. The student was being dragged into the police station. Everyone started asking the basis of the police officer’s action. The lawyers protested the arbitrariness of the police officer’s action. He eventually let go of the tight grip wrapped around the student’s arm.

He was shouting furiously, shivering in anger as he walked into the police station. In the face of imminent threat, intimidation and harassment, the students cheered, they pledged to keep on fighting for what they believe in. They were fearless.

It’s intriguing to witness such anger coming from those who have been in the position of power for 54 years, a power that has been inflicted with impunity on ordinary people who believe in freedom, people who are only armed with unspoken conviction that someday, things will change, people will be free from shackles of oppression that have long chained their minds.

Power structure is shaken
The existing power structure is terribly shaken by the voices of people who refuse to be coerced into submission despite the imminent threat posed by an arsenal of oppressive laws which have been used against people who refuse to submit to the dictates of the ruling power.
The continued ruthless assault on freedom of speech and assembly has been amplified through the passing of the repressive Peaceful Assembly Bill which acts as a new weapon to stifle dissent. People resisted before the Bill was passed. People still resist after the Bill was passed. And people will continue to resist until such oppressive legislation is crushed.

People are well aware of the consequences of their actions, but they still choose to resist. This is again evident from the Saturday’s march organised by students to reclaim public space to get their voices heard. They marched on in defiance of the Bill and all other existing oppressive laws to call for academic freedom. Again, they were fearless.

Resistance indeed creates fear. It’s not the fear of the people against whom the oppression is being directed to. It’s the fear of those in power, it’s the fear of those who have all the weapons at their disposal, it’s the fear of losing the power to dictate and oppress.

Possessed by such fear, they forget that history has shown that the harder the people are pushed to the wall, the harder they would fight back. It’s an inevitable reciprocal arrangement. Blinded by such fear, they forget that the people become more indignant, to reclaim what those in power fear the most, freedom from fear.

Aku Tidak Benci UMNO

1.Rakyat yang mengundi parti lain,tidak semestinya bencikan UMNO, tapi mungkin merasakan harapan mereka berada di pihak yang lain.

2. Rakyat yang membenci UMNO pula bukan semestinya menyokong parti lain, tetapi mungkin kerana merasakan UMNO telah menghancurkan harapan mereka.

3.Rakyat yang menghargai jasa UMNO yang lalu bukan semestinya akan mengundi UMNO pada masa ini kerana mungkin "harapan" itu sudah berubah dalam konteks dan dimensi persekitaran yang baru.

Kunci Pilihanraya adalah "harapan". Jika sesuatu kerajaan menguburkan harapan rakyat, maka kerajaan itu akan berkubur. Sebaliknya, jika dia dapat menghidupkan harapan, maka kerajaan itu akan terus segar dan disokong.

Mujahid dan Mujahidah UMNO Bergelumang Tahi

Belum habis cerita pasal fidlot dan kehangatan tahi lembu Shahrizat, para Mujahid dan Mujahidah UMNO bermain tahi replika pula. Cukup memalukan bangsa Melayu dan 1Malaysia.

Menghina Guan Eng sedemikian rupa akan membawa implikasi buruk kepada UMNO ..membawa makna secara keseluruhannya menghina seorang pemimpin berbangsa Cina yang dipilih secara demokratik..

KESANNYA:15 kerusi MCA yang ada sekarang akan terlepas dalam PRU13 nanti.
Maknanya BN akan kehilangan 15 kerusi kepada PR..Kalau UMNO pula hilang 10 kerusi parlimen..dan kaki lompat termasuk Brahim dari Pasir Mas kehilangan kerusi,PR akan ke Putrajaya dengan bergaya...Parlimen dikuasai PR2/3.

Kalau MCA dan MIC sudah pupus, UMNO akan bersendirian di Semenanjung..Winnable calon BN di Sabah akan bertukar warna serta merta..percayalah..

UMNO sepatutnya berjuang dengan kris terhunus, bukan dengan hidangan tahi.Cukup jijik perjuangan UMNO sekarang. Naina merican sudah bermain dengan tahi...Najib dan Muhyidin terpalit juga..orang melayu dalam UMNO kerana tidak mahu terpalit akan bertempiaran meninggalkan UMNO.
